My name is Destinee Reyes and I'm 18 years old. I was born and raised in San Antonio, Texas, where I graduated 5th in my class from Business Careers High School. I currently attend The University of Texas as a freshman journalism major. I hope to one day become a news reporter then work my way up to being an anchor. So far I have a few journalistic accomplishments I'm pretty proud of - becoming a reporter for the Cactus (UT Austin's yearbook) and a couple projects for class (which can both be found on my portfolio page). Along with those accomplishments, I've become pretty skilled with multimedia software; I can edit photos, videos, and even audio using software such as Adobe Photoshop, Soundslides, Final Cut Pro, and Audacity.
Any time I'm not in class or at Academy Sports + Outdoors (where I work as a Customer Service Cashier) is spent studying and writing stories for the Cactus. Any other free time I have I like to use for reading and listening to music.
